We LOVE our job! Though a lot of time and effort went into starting this business, the core is from our heart, soul, and love. This isn't just a job for us. It's our purpose...our destiny. We want to help postpartum mothers. We pride ourselves on operating from a dedicated workspace that sets standards high in customer service, cleanliness, and sanitation. We want every mom to feel that her wishes with her placenta are met, respected, and for her to know it is her own placenta that she's getting back.
Being able to care for such a precious gift, create a unique and lasting memory, and then returning it to the mother is such a rewarding a purposeful job. This is something that we absolutely enjoy, and feel it is such a privilege to be able to give such a gift to postpartum mom's.
"I LOVED the cord dreamcatcher -- I get lots of compliments on it when visitors see his nursery. I look forward to working with you again in the future!"
I have attended specialized online training through the Association of Placenta Preparation and Arts (APPA) since 2017. This is a prestigious program dedicated to placental knowledge to serve our clients as best we can. We are required to re-certify every year, ensuring we stay up-to-date on standards and safety around placenta encapsulation. Currently, I am Central Colorado's only APPA certified placenta encapsulation specialist.
Because our work involves human blood, it is crucial that we maintain certification with bloodborne pathogens training to be sure we have a good grasp of knowledge about the precautions and safety measures to keep ourselves and our clients safe and healthy. I re-certify yearly.
Safety and food handling knowledge is not something that is required but that we do additionally because we are processing your placenta in a way to be consumed. So, to be sure we are giving our very best to our clients, we want to be well-versed and well-rounded in all realms our job encapsulates. We re-certify every three years.
Through APPA, we have been able to take additional training in regards to COVID, to be sure we are keeping ourselves and our clients safe in such a scary and unknown time.
Since COVID hit, our protocols have changed. We now only do curbside/porch pickup, and curbside/porch drop-off. This helps lessen the spread of any potential pathogens to keep you and your family safe.
We proudly offer placenta encapsulation in Denver, Westminster, Arvada/Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Littleton, Loveland, Mountain Towns, and all other surrounding areas within 70 miles of us!
Postpartum is as unique as you are. It can be an easy ride or rough ride depending on many different variables but ultimately it's mandatory. So, we want to help make every postpartum as pleasant, memorable and enjoyable as possible. Many moms may worry about postpartum depression, milk production (if they plan to breastfeed), or even energy levels. Our mission is to help you worry a little less, and focus on the positives, like your adorable new baby! You are basically a super hero, bringing life into this world! That's a tough job and while you rocked it, it's not over yet! Once you given life to your new baby, your body needs to heal and recoup from such an amazing event...Even super heroes need healing time! Through placenta encapsulation, you may find that balance restores faster within your body, you may heal faster, and if you have suffered from any postpartum depression or baby blues previously, this could help you avoid or decrease it! Your placenta is basically a tonic made by you, just for you. Why not give it a try? You won't regret it! You can also have an amazing birth keepsake to look at years from now and remember that special journey you took with your child.
I am a compassionate, empathetic, artsy animal lover. I love to paint and create DIY projects. I wear my heart on my sleeve and my main drive is to give. I went to school for many years without every really finding my niche. It took me most of my 20's trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I decided to have a baby when I was 27. Like most other first-time-moms, I researched like a mad-woman about every aspect of pregnancy. Once I came upon placenta encapsulation, I was intrigued! I researched for hours and within a week, I had decided to go through the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) to learn as much as I could about the process of placenta encapsulation. I flew through the program, and the very first placenta I ever processed was my own! I decided from there that I wanted to do this for as many other mammas as I could. I created my business because I had finally found my calling in life. How many other people can say they absolutely LOVE their jobs? I am truly blessed to have come into this profession, and so lucky to be able to give such a gift for so many moms-to-be. I am fulfilled, I am grateful, and I am happy. I look forward to the amount of families I can help on this journey!
With love, from my family to yours.
